Paras Foundation, Munger


Paras Foundation is a nonprofitable public welfare trust registered under Indian Trust act 1982 establishing better education from primary to higher education and integrated development of poor’s, marginalized, orphans, widows, minorities, tribal’s, urban poor’s, unorganized labors and uncared senior citizen with sound health and hygiene as well as to save environment by sanitation, plantation and forestry. The trust also work for providing relief in event of natural calamities like flood, fire , famine , drought, earthquake and in other calamities. Agriculture is the main thrust of Indian economy, hence the trust support all agricultural and allied agricultural activities including facility of irrigation, and pure drinking water.


Paras Foundation have approach to establish well equipped school and colleges for better education and establish skill development institute linked with loan for generating employment. Paras Foundation has integrated community approach that brings people together in form of SHG/JLG, cluster development groups with linked together with multi pronged activity that covers community organization, financial literacy, microfinance ,micro enterprise. development ,watershed development and social welfare to empowerment Paras Foundation shall have the close liaison with central govt, state govt, banks and all financial institution to achieve the objective.

Paras Foundation visualize a society in which all people have access to better education , Hygiene and health, Employment , sanitation and Economic self reliance. Paras Foundation also visualize develop agriculture, allied agriculture activity as profitable and viable and establishing small industrial units and service centers as well as establishing skill development centers to create employment for youths of the nation.

By Rail : Nearest railway station is Jamalpur and Bhagalpur on Sahibganj Loop (Kiul Junction-Kajra Junction) line on Howrah-Delhi route. It is 8 km from Munger city and well connect with major cities in India with good frequency of express and passenger trains.

By Air : Munger has a small aerodrum with no commercial service and used only for VIP movements. Nearest domestic airport with commercial service is Patna airport around 180 km away. Patna is served by all major airlines. Nearest international airport is Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata.

By Road : Munger is connected with NH-80 and various state highways.
